Ospanova Yaroslava Nikolayevna

Candidate of Pedagogical Science, Professor, Honorable Worker of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Correspondent member of the International Academy of Psychological Science (Russia).

In 2003 she graduated from the post-graduate course at the Department of Pedagogy and Psychology of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. In 2005 she undertook the probation training at the school of social work of the Columbian University (New York, the USA).

1998–1999 – Chairperson of the Committee on the youth affairs of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.

2000–2002 – Deputy Dean on the educational work of the pedagogical faculty of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University.

In September 2001 she was the leader of the volunteer group of the students on preparing and organizing the meeting of the youth of Kazakhstan with the Pope of Rome John Paul II for which she was awarded the medal of the Church of Vatican.

2003–2004 – National expert on the services of the friendly youth within the frames of the program for the children and the youth of the children’s fund of the UNO UNISEF.

Since 2006 – Leader of the Clinics for the friendly youth within the frames of the International project of the children’s fund of the UNO UNISEF.

Since 2004 – Trainer –pedagogue of the Institute of managers and trainers of the public union “The Kazakh Association of Psychologists”.

Since 2005 – Deputy Chairperson of the consultative counsel under the human rights of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

2007–2008 – Deputy Director on the educational work of the Kazakhstani – Russian university.

2008–2012 – Director of the Centre on educational and social work of the Eurasian Humanities Institute.

Since 2009 – Chief editor of the scientific journal ”Reports of the Academy of Education”.

Since 2012 – Prorector on the educational work of the Eurasian Humanities Institute.

Since 1996 Ospanova Ya.N. has been doing scientific researches on the issues of political socialization of the youth, deviation of adolescents and young people, the activities of the youth organizations, development of the civil sector. Ospanova Ya.N. developed the normative documents, methodological recommendations on holding the debate tournaments aimed at popularizing the Strategy “Kazakhstan – 2030”, educational programs on training the socially oriented family doctors, social workers, psychologists, volunteers on the work with socially-vulnerable layers of the population, on mobilizing the association, training the leaders from the association, forming the groups of self and mutual aid for the committees on the youth affairs of higher schools, student social associations.

Since 2001 Ospanova Ya.N. has conducted master-classes on the problems of deviation in the adolescent and teenagers’ environment, training seminars on personal growth, political competence of the student youth, forming the skills of responsible behavior. She conducts the elective courses for students, leaders of the youth organizations, curators.

Since 2000 Ospanova Ya.N. has carried out the scientific research on the personally–oriented social pedagogical preventive measures against drug addiction and toxic addiction. She has developed and approbated the program on the work with those depending on PAS (psycho-active substances) and she has been conducting the preventive measures work on the problems of drug addiction among adolescents and teenagers.

Since 2014 Ospanova Ya.N. has been the member of the editorial board of the electronic journal “The World of a Personality” of the Institute on the problems of education of the National Academy of Pedagogical Science of the Ukraine.

Yaroslava Nikolayevna published more than 110 scientific articles, developed and published educational and educational-methodical aids.

For the contribution in the development of the system of education of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ospanova Ya.N. was awarded the Badges of the MES of RK: «The Honorable Worker of Education of RK», «Ы. Алтынсарин». She was repeatedly marked by Gratitude Letters of the Ministry of Education and Science of RK, the Ministry of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Congress of the Youth of Kazakhstan, and the Youth Wing «Жас Отан». In 2005 for the contribution in the education of the Kazakhstani Youth she was awarded the title of “The Social Innovator of Kazakhstan” at the First Republican Competition «ТАНЫЛУ» for the leaders of non-governmental organizations.
