The solemn Dedication of first-year students at the Eurasian Humanities Institute in online format

On November 19, 2021, the videoconference was held at the Eurasian Humanities Institute, dedicated to the solemn ceremony of the Dedication of first-year students. The anthem of EAGI students was played at the beginning of the ceremony.

Vice Rector for Academic and Scientific Affairs, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor K.A. Akhmetov delivered a congratulatory speech, wishing students success in their academic career and urged them to treat their studies with full responsibility, to be active and proactive, thereby multiplying the achievements of our Institute. Also Kadyr Abiljanovich presented diplomas to the winners and prize winners of the subject Olympiads and the Republican contest of students research papers of higher educational institutions, organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

First-year students Tileubekyzy Guldauren, Karina Nusupova, Almaz Nurkeyev, Aydyn Abdukadirova and Alibi Berikov took part in the solemn initiation ritual. They traditionally recited the student oath in three languages from the stage. Senior students – leaders of student self-government: Tynysbek Madina, Karim Islam, Malyutina Marina, Yelikai Abdualieva, Rustem Shukhanov addressed to freshmen with parting words. The Dean of the Institute, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor Kemaykina T.N. expressed her best wishes and presented symbols of students to the new freshmen – a student card and a key to knowledge. Then students sang the student anthem Gaudeamus.

The Vice-Rector for Educational Work, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Y.N. Ospanova congratulated the first-year students on the significant day. Creative musical and instrumental congratulations were sounded for the heroes of the occasion – first-year students in the end.

On behalf of the management and teaching staff of the Institute, we wish the first year students to carry worthily their new title “student”, to aspire to gain knowledge and mastery of skills necessary for future profession!
