On February 12, 2026, curator B.B. Mazhitova held a curator hour on the topic “Personal data and its protection” in academic group F-23-01.
The purpose of the curator hour was to help students understand what personal data is, why it is important to protect it, and how to behave safely on the Internet.
The session covered the types of personal data (full name, address, phone number, photos, document data, passwords, etc.) and discussed online threats (fraud, cyberbullying, account hacking).
Students learned the basic rules of protection: do not share personal data with strangers, use complex passwords, configure privacy settings on social networks, and be careful when clicking on links.
