On February 12, 2026, a training session on “Personal boundaries: how to define and maintain them?” was held for academic groups PPK-23-01, PPTK-24-01, PPK-24-01, PPK-25-01, PPTK-25-01, MD-23-01, BO-24-01, DO-25-01, DOT-25-01, a training session was held on the topic “Personal boundaries: how to define and observe them?” The training was organized by teachers from the Department of Pedagogy and History: Associate Professor Ayazbaeva A.T., Senior Lecturers Baltabaeva A.T., Musiev A.B., and Khasanova A.Zh.
The main goal of the training was to promote the personal development of students, form ideas about personal boundaries and develop skills for their constructive establishment, as well as strengthen a culture of interpersonal interaction based on the principles of mutual respect.
The event was organized in an interactive format and included a set of practice-oriented exercises and reflective stages. During the workshop, participants analyzed typical life situations, practiced skills for openly expressing their own position, the ability to refuse (“saying no”), showing respect for the opinions of others, and building constructive dialogue.
The training focused on developing assertive behavior as an effective model of interpersonal interaction, which involves balancing the protection of one’s own rights with respect for the rights of others. As a result, participants improved their skills in defining and defending personal boundaries, as well as respecting the boundaries of others.
