From March 26 to 28, 2026, the “Best Lawyer” competition was held at the B. Beisenov Karaganda Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The competition was attended by students from universities in Astana and Karaganda, as well as cadets from the B. Beisenov Karaganda Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
According to the approved schedule, the first day of the competition featured a packed program, including an official opening ceremony, video greetings, testing, a quiz show, a blitz tournament, and essay writing on current topics. In addition, a master class on crime scene investigation using unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) was demonstrated for the students.
On the second day of the competition, students and cadets demonstrated their level of theoretical knowledge and legal application skills while solving case studies. As part of the cultural and recreational portion of the program, participants visited an airbase in the Karaganda Region, as well as the KarLAG Museum, where they learned about the region’s historical heritage.
Based on the results of the “Best Lawyer” competition, second place was awarded to A. E. Kapasov, a student in the “Jurisprudence” program at the EAGI.
The awards ceremony was presided over by Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs S. Adilov, who presented the winners and runners-up with diplomas, awards, and commemorative prizes.
The remaining contestants were awarded letters of appreciation and received invitations to serve in the internal affairs agencies.
Following the official proceedings, a festive concert was organized for the participants and guests of the event.
Overall, the competition contributed to raising the professional level of the participants, developing practical skills, and strengthening cooperation between educational institutions and regional divisions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
