On January 29, 2026, as part of the educational and introductory internship program, the Department of Legal Disciplines, in collaboration with the Esil District Police Department, conducted a field training session for second-year students of the Jurisprudence educational program at the Astana Police Department’s territorial division.
During the session, the management of the personnel service and responsible employees of the leading divisions familiarized students with the legal and organizational foundations of the activities of internal affairs bodies in modern conditions.
The students had the opportunity to learn about the work of the main police management services, in particular: the investigation and inquiry service, the licensing system department, the juvenile police, and the operational-criminalistics department.
Police department employees explained to students the reform of the internal affairs system of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the development of a service model for the police in the context of implementing the Concept for Ensuring Public Safety in Partnership with Society for 2024-2028 (in the field of crime prevention).
The session aroused keen interest among the students and greatly contributed to the development of the professional competencies of future specialists, as well as to raising their awareness of the specifics of professional activity in the internal affairs system.
