Presentation week was held in EAGI

From the 3rd till the 8th of September the meeting of the Institute administration with the first-year students was held in the conference hall of the Eurasian Humanities Institute The main goal of this meeting was acquaintance of the first-year students with the Institute administration, the groups curators, the leaders of the student self-government and the inner order rule, the Charter of EAGI, the Code of Honor of a student of a higher educational establishment and the rules of the organization of the educational process on the credit technology.

The meeting of the students waqs opened by the Rector of the Institute Academician A.K. Russayinov who congratulated the freshmen on the beginning of a new student life and told them about the history and achievements of the Instituteand wished them success in their studies calling them for the responsibility, initiative activities for greater merits of our Institute.

The parting and support words were addressed to the students by the first Prorector of the Institute, Candidate of Psychological Science, Professor A.D. Issmayilov. He made a special emphasis on the peculiarities of the organization of the educational process in EAGI, where there are created all the conditions for the students to get a qualitative education which further on will help them to be competitive specialists in their spheres.

The first-year students were greeted by the Prorector on the educational and scientific work, Doctor of Historical Science, Professor K.A. Akhmetov, the Dean of EAGI, Candidate of Philological Science, Docent K.A. Mamadil. They told about the basic rules of the educational work in the Institute.

The students were also greeted by the Prorector on the educational work, Candidate of Pedagogical Science, Professor Ya.N. Ospanova, the leader of the psychological service Doctor of Psychological Science, Professor T.A. Abdrashitova, the Head of the Centre of inclusive education, Master of Science A.T. Ayazbayeva, the Head of the press-centre Master of Science G.S. Ospanova, the Chairperson of the CYA Master of Science N.T. Tyrnyhan, the leaders of the Committee on the youth affairs. The Coordinator on the academic mobility and international relations Master of Science A.T. Sandybayeva represented the programmes of education in the Republic Institutes , of far and neighboring countries. In the course of the meeting the students were asking questions and were exchanging their opinions.

In the preparation for the representation week there were involved also the members of the Office of Registration and advisers who acquainted the students with the

specificity of the work of automatized information system “Platonus”, the procedure of registering for the disciplines, filling in the individual educational plans. The librarians told the students about the Institute library servicing. The curator hours were conducted according to the schedule.
