EAGI is developing publishing scientific activity
The seminar on the theme: “Data base Springer Nature and its application during the preparation of publications in international journals” was conducted on 8th January 2019 in the Eurasian Humanities Institute. 62 teachers and employees of the Institute took part at this seminar.
The EAGI library was the organizer of this event. Prorector on the educational and scientific work K.A. Akhmetov made a greeting speech. He marked that the main aim of the seminar was to instruct the teacher show to use the base instruments of Springer Nature in order to get prepared for publications in the international journals. Prorector K.A. Akhmetov also underlined that all academic and scientific organizations of Kazakhstan have got free access to the text collection of scientific journals of the international company Springer Nature, one of the world biggest and oldest (1842) publishing houses in different directions of science, technique and medicine since 2015. The publishing house Springer Nature has an excellent reputation and is famous among the international scientific communities.
The lecturer was the license manager of Springer Nature Alexandrova Irene Alexeyevna. She answered the following questions:
- why is it necessary to publish articles in the international journals?
- how is it possible to find the needed article and get access to it?
- how can the journal be chosen for publication?
- how can the articles be cited? etc.
The seminar participants received the information about choosing the journal according to the direction of the researches and how to publish the articles in the rating journals. On the completion of the seminar the participants were awarded certificates.
