The Debate tournament dedicated to the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On October 19, 2022, on the eve of the Day of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the debate tournament was held in the British format of parliamentary debates, in which the teams of educational programs of the Eurasian Humanities Institute took part.

The faction of the debate movement of the EAGI Student Parliament, the Committee for Youth Affairs, the debate club “Verum” together with the Department for Combating Drug Crime of the Astana Police Department were the organizers of this fascinating and exciting tournament.

The winners of the debate tournament were the following participants:

1st place – Alimkhan Bakdaulet, student of the educational program “Jurisprudence” (academic group YUR-20-01);
2nd place – Nurkeev Almaz, student of the educational program “Finance” (academic group F-21-01);
3rd place – Omirbek Tokzhan, student of the educational program ” Foreign language: two foreign languages ” (academic group ShT-22-02).

In the Lincoln-Douglas format, the best referee of the tournament was the student of the educational program Jurisprudence Salimzhuarov Gani (academic group YUR-20-01).

The winners and prize-winners were awarded cups, certificates and valuable prizes from the Eurasian Humanities Institute and the Department for Combating Drug Crime of the Astana Police Department.
