Volleyball tournament for the EAGI Rector’s Cup among students of universities and colleges in Astana

On February 22, 2023 at the A.K. Kussayinov Eurasian Humanities Institute, the EAGI Sports Club, the Sports and Healthy Lifestyle Faction of the Student Parliament, the Committee on Youth Affairs, together with the Department for Combating Drug Crime of the Astana Police Department, held  student volleyball tournament for the EAGI Rector’s Cup.  The A.K. Kussayinov Eurasian Humanities Institute, Kazakh Agrotechnical University named after S.Seifullin, ENU named after L.N.Gumilyov, Esil University, Academy of Physical Culture and Mass Sports (APEMS), institution “Higher College EAGI” took part in it.

In a bitter struggle among the combined teams of the universities the Phoenix team won the first place and the EAGI Rector’s Cup; the second place was taken by the team “Ekipazh” and the third place was taken  by the team “FSN (EAGI)”.

Also, among the participants of the tournament, the winners in the nomination “Best Player of the Tournament” were determined:

• among young men – Abdirov Erdaulet (student of ENU named after L.N. Gumilyov);
• among the girls – Ermekkalieva Kamila (student of ENU named after L.N. Gumilyov).
