EAGI students-volunteers are getting prepared for the Day of Elderly people

From 20 September 2016 the second year students of the specialty “Pedagogy and Psychology” who are the volunteers of the student club «Асылжүрек», together with the social workers of the educational practical centre of the family medicine: «Демеу» began the preparation of the event timed to the International Day of the elderly people. As it is known, this day in the calendar appeared due to the resolution of the General Assembly of the UNO and is celebrated on 1 October all over the world.

The EAGI students acknowledging their responsibility for the elderly people considered it their duty to take care of the people of the older generation helping them and taking care of them.

As a whole, according to the teachers’ opinion, this activity encourages the students’ formation of the spiritual-moral qualities and moral values.
