EAGI marked the International Interpreters’ Day
On the eve of the International Interpreters’ Day students and lecturers of the Department of foreign languages celebrated this event having organized competitions and the concert.
The first-year students took an active part in all arrangements (activities, events) of the holiday.
The concert was attended by our job employers from “Gala Translations”: Aima Maksutkyzy and Zarina Balmagambetova. They were impressed by the active participation of the students and by their knowledge of the English, German and Chinese languages.
It was a great surprise for the audience to see our 2015 graduate Rustem Rakhimzhanov as a participant of the event. His full size costume of Panda and his wonderful dance impressed the audience greatly. The International Interpreters’ Day is a traditional holiday of the Foreign languages Department and it was a great opportunity for the teachers and students to share their experience and reveal their creativity.
