Tournament on basketball and chess in EAGI

On 27 — 28 October 2016 at the Eurasian Humanities Institute there were held tournaments on basketball and chess under the motto: “ We are against corruption. We are against drugs. We are for the healthy way of life!!!” The sports events were conducted together with the Department on the affairs of the state service and opposition against corruption of Astana city and the Department on the struggle against narco-business of the DIA of Astana city.

In the tournament on basketball in the struggle for the Cup the team of the Department of Foreign languages won the first prize, the teams of Departments of Economic and Mathematical disciplines and the State-legal disciplines won the 2-nd and 3-rd prizes. The team of the group ЮК-14 of the Department of State and legal disciplines was awarded Diploma: “For the desire to win”. The best players of the tournament on basketball were acknowledged: Zhanbayev Yevgheny, Sayan Moldir, Salimzhanov Yerkebulan. The winners and the best players of the tournament were awarded Diplomas and precious prizes.

On the results of the chess tournament the first prize was won by Shyntemir Darhan (ПМНОК-15-01), the second prize- by Toleubayev Miras (ЮКС-14-01), the third prize – by Tuleutay Askar (ПДС-14-01).
