Nauryz and the national traditions of the cuisine of the peoples of Kazakhstan

Within the program «Рухани жаңғыру» the Department of economic and mathematical disciplines held the competition of national dishes devoted to the celebration of Nauryz , the aim of which was upbringing and development of culture of the peoples of Kazakhstan, propaganda of the history and understanding of the significance of folk traditions. Nauryz is the most important and ancient festival of astern peoples. The youth appreciate the traditions through their families. Today the principles and traditions of celebrating Nauryz did not change. As in any big holiday there is a tradition in every family to lay a rich dastarhan, to meet guests, relatives, to give each other presents, to help orphans and the needed. Following the traditions of the Eurasian Humanities Institute the students of the educational program “Finance” celebrated Nauryz together with their families and in the distance format congratulated their fellow-students and teachers on the holiday of the spring renewal of nature.
