Applying IT technologies in the sphere of Translation Studies

On November 13-th, 2020 there was held a regular online master-class for the graduates of the educational program “Translation Studies” on the theme: “Applying IT technologies in the sphere of Translation Studies”.

The Master –class was conducted by the Director of the Centre of language translation, the member of the Association of EAGI graduates, the employer Bocharov Yevgeny (2010 graduation). The students received useful information on special internet programs used by interpreters all over the world such as: KUDO, Interprefy, Interactio, Zoom, Voiceboxer and others. There were also presented the tools for translators such as: TRADOS, SMARTCAT, MEMOQ, MULTITERM and others. The master class was conducted in the interactive mode with questions and answers.
