The Students’ Scientific-research Work
A priority direction of work of the Department with the students is to involve them in research. The research work of the students is carried out according to the plan of the students’ independent work.
Our students actively participate in the Republican, city-wide conferences and in the annual conference of EAGI “Science and the New Generation”.
Good scientific results are the work of the scientific circle of the Department of “Turan” (scientific advisor: Candidate of Historical Science, Docent Nazarova Z.Zh., Master of Humanities, Senior teacher Islyamova A.Z.). On 8-10 April, 2015 the student team on the specialty “History”, consisted of Sabiyev K. (captain), Hairolla N., Anafin M., Sipat B. took part in the Republican subject Olympiad (Almaty, KazNPU named after Abay) in history, where they presented the research project “Formation and development of the Kazakh khanate”, and were awarded the Diploma of the1st degree.
The members of the group held a round table with participation of the students of 1-4 courses of the specialty “History” on the theme “December is the beginning of Independence” on 9 December, 2015. A scientific seminar-discussion “Independent Kazakhstan is Alash” was held among the students of the historical specialties with participation of the teachers of the Department of Pedagogy: Doctor of Pedagogical Science Sarsekeyev B.S., Candidate of Historical Science, Docent Dzhanpeissova M.M., Candidate of Pedagogical Science, Docent Ospanova J.N., Senior teachers Eslyamova A.Z., Mustakova A.T. on 10 December.
The students of the specialty “Pedagogy and Psychology”, “History”, “Pedagogy and Methodology of Primary Education” are involved in the joint research projects of the teachers and a complex scientific theme of the Department. The result is inclusion of the students in the program of the annual interuniversity student scientific conference, which is held on the basis of EAGI. So, at the XVII conference “Science and the New Generation — 2015”, devoted to the 20th anniversary of EAGI, it was stated two sections from the Department, in which it was submitted 108 reports, of which 57 were the scientific reports of the students of the Department of Pedagogy. The confeerence was attended by master students of the Omsk State University, the Orenburg State Pedagogical University (Russia), the Women’s Pedagogical Institute (Almaty), the Institute of Diplomacy of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Kazakhstan, the L.N. Gumilyov ENU, the Karaganda State University named after E.Buketov, the West Kazakhstan Agrarian-technical University named after Zhanghirkhan (Uralsk), the Kzyl-Orda State University named after Korkyt and others. The work of the sections showed that the students are interested in the various spheres of social development.
There were the hot scientific discussions on the current state of education, problems of psychology and pedagogy, personal growth, actively discussed the problems of religious extremism, questions of formation of historical, civil and Patriotic consciousness. The scientific advisors and teachers of the Department participated with great interest in the discussions. A large number of reports were prepared on the problems of social psychology. Among them should be noted the report of Zhanguzarova Alina (ППС-3-4) which is devoted to the topical problem of the role of the father in the personal development of children; Teshabayeva Ugylay (ППС-2-5) on the theme “Study of personality characteristics of sportsmen (on the example of the EAGI volleyball team)”, which stated that the lack of motivation of achievements and inclination for the risk of the team members leads to a change in the game policy and the loss at competitions; Utilulieva Dinara (ППС-2-5), she talked about the features of adolescent communication who are the active users of the Internet network.
It is necessary to highlight the interesting reports on the issues of educational psychology of Nenakhova A. (ППС-4-3), Krikbayeva R. (ППС-3-4), Chiklimova D. (ППС-4-3). Students’ performing demonstrated their real immersion in the research problem, and their ability to support the discussion and to answer questions from the audience, the experience of public speaking.
Great interest was aroused by the students’ reports of the specialty “History” on the issues of participation and role of Kazakhstan in the Great Patriotic War. The participants of the section noted the report of the 4-year student Sabieva Kenzhegara on the theme: “Peoples’ deportation in the period of the Great Patriotic War” and the report of the 4-year student of the specialty “History” Shaghil Nurgul on the theme: “Battle way of General Sabyr Rakhimov”.
The students on specialty “ППС” of the 2nd and 3rd courses (Kashirskaya K. Tkachenko K. Bolatov D. Zhangurazova A.) participated in the part-time youth scientific-practical conference “The Changing youth in a changing world: a view from the inside”, which took place on 21 April, 2015 at the Kazakh Humanities and Law University, Astana. The articles of these students are published in the conference proceedings (scientific supervisor: Docent Kemaykina T.N.).
The 2nd year students on specialty “ППСк” Zh.Muratbayeva, M.Aimagambetova took part and received the certificates of the 10th International Student Conference at the L.N. Gumilyov ENU “Science and Education – 2015” (scientific supervisor: Senior teacher Mulikova A.S.) on 10 April, 2015.
The students of the specialty “Pedagogy and Psychology”, “History” took part in the Republican contest of student research works conducted on the basis of the Kazakh National Pedagogical University named after Abay (Almaty), and showed good results. The student of the 4th course of the specialty “History” Dzhumagalieva Zeinel was awarded the diploma of the 3rd degree of the MES of RK (scientific supervisor: Docent Amanbayev A.Zh.) for the report «Қазақстандағы «Кіші Қазан» науқаны және оның салдары (1925-1933)». The 3rd year student of the specialty “Pedagogy and Psychology” Iskakova Kamila for the report “Socio-psychological analysis of the phenomenon of the social Internet networks (on the example of students) was awarded the diploma of the 3rd degree of the MES of RK (scientific supervisor: Candidate of Sociological Science, Docent Mukhambetova K. A.); the 3rd year student of the specialty “Pedagogy and Psychology” Shairmanova Aknur was awarded the diploma of the1st degree of the MES of RK for the report «Балалар үйінде психологиялық тренингтерді жүргізү ерекшеліктері (Ақкөл, Жолымбет балалар үйлерінің негізінде)» (scientific supervisor: Senior teacher Pakhrutdinova Zh.I.).
From the reports and the articles of scientific-practical conferences the students come up to the choice of themes for diploma works. Themes of diploma works are discussed at the meeting of the methodological section and approved at the session of the Department. Thus, 5 diploma works were associated with the complex topic of scientific research of the Department of Pedagogy “Competence approach – the basis of preparation of a new generation of textbooks in the 2014-2015 academic year”. The opportunities of the school textbook «Әліппе» were uncovered in the diploma work of G.Sh. Dametova “Creating a personal universal educational abilities of younger schoolboys in the course of using the textbook” in shaping the personality of universal training skills, describes the forms and methods of work with the younger students.
The author’s method of using the textbook and workbook at Mathematics lessons for the 1st grade was proposed by the scientific supervisor in the diploma work of A.K. Ualieva “Ways of using the textbook and workbook at Mathematics lessons for the 1st grade”. A.K. Ualieva did a lot of research work on the problems of the school textbook, its hidden opportunities for the development of mathematical skills of primary school children. In the diploma work of E.S. Kluyeva “Formation of communicative purpose of educational abilities of younger schoolboys at Russian language lessons” was made an analysis of the competency approach in modern education, revealed the concept of “universal communication skills training”, revealed effective forms and methods of teaching the Russian language for the 3rd grade. All three diploma works were prepared under the guidance of well-known scientist, Doctor of Pedagogical Science Sarsekeyev B.S.
M.O. Alzhanova in her diploma work “Бастауыш сынып оқушыларының құзыреттілігін тұлғалық бағдарлы білім беру негізінде қалыптастыру» (scientific supervisor: Candidate of Pedagogical Science N.T. Nyghymanova) actualized the problem of the formation of the key competences in primary schools.
The full-time student S.E. Simonova submitted to the study of the competence approach in her diploma work “Formation of communicative competence in children of primary school age” (scientific advisor: Candidate of Pedagogical Science, Docent A.B. Izdeleuova). The novelty of the presented material was in the development of methods of formation of communicative skills in the primary grades.
The research student forums and scientific diploma works permit to strengthen and develop practical experience of communication of young people with professionals, the students are engaged in an objective scientific process, reflect the complexity, ambiguity and at the same time progressiveness of research work as creative development.
