EAGI establishes cooperation with Malaysia

19.09.2024 in the A.K. Kusainov Eurasian Humanitarian Institute (hereinafter – EAGI) hosted an official visit of the Managing Director of ELC (English Language Company), Deputy President of the Association NAPEI Wai Cheng Lao, Malaysia.

Acting rector, professor, candidate of pedagogical sciences Nygymanova Nurbanova Tokenovna, vice-rector for academic affairs and strategic development, candidate of philological sciences, professor Zagatova S.B., as well as coordinator of Erasmus+ projects, candidate of pedagogical sciences, professor Meiramova S.A. were present from the side of EAGI.

Managing Manager Wai Cheng presented brief information about her campaign; spoke about the campaign’s achievements in the field of academic English language training, internationalisation of training programmes and international cooperation.

In turn, Acting rector Nygymanova Nurbanu Tokenovna told about the latest achievements of the Institute, educational programmes, mobility of students and teachers, international integration of EAGI into the world educational space.

During the discussion the Parties mutually agreed that in order to strengthen cooperation a Memorandum of Understanding will be signed and EAGI will join the NAPEI Association, where a variety of joint activities on academic, research, educational and cultural issues will be implemented.

Background: NAPEI was founded on 15 September 1987 and represents all levels of private educational institutions in Malaysia, NAPEI now has over 60 members. NAPEI, with the support of the Ministry of Education and other government bodies, continues to represent the interests of local private education institutions before various ministries.
