EAGI hosted a chess tournament dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On October 12, 2021, a chess tournament dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan was held at the Eurasian Humanitarian Institute, together with the Office for Combating Drug Crimes of the Police Department of Nur-Sultan. The tournament was attended by students of the Institute and College of EAGI. The vicerector for educational work, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Ospanova Yaroslava Nikolaeyvna, Chairperson of the CYA Shakenova Ainur and the organizer of the tournament, a student of the PMNO -18-01 group, gave a welcoming speech to the participants of the tournament.

The rector of the Eurasian Humanities Institute, Academician Kussainov Amangheldy Kussayinovich also played a game of chess, who noted a high level of preparedness of our chess players.

According to the results of the tournament,the 1st place was taken by Huseynov Vyugar (PP-20-01), 2nd place – Sherubayev Alen (ISR-22), 3rd place – Yessenov Yerdaulet (PVR-12)
