EAGI hosted an online presentation week

On September 1-7, 2021, the Eurasian Humanities Institute held online meetings between the Institute leadership and first-year students. The main purpose of the meetings was to acquaint freshmen with the administration of the Institute, curators of groups, leaders of student self-government/

At the meeting with the administration of the Institute, the opening speech was given to the Rector of the Eurasian Humanities Institute, Academician A.K. Kussayinov, who congratulated the freshmen on the beginning of their student life, and spoke about the history and achievements of the Institute.

The meeting was continued by the first Vice-rector of the Institute, Candidate of Psychological sciences, Professor A.D. Issmayilov, who in his speech made the main emphasis on familiarizing freshmen with the Internal Regulations, the EAGI Charter, the Code of Honor for a student of a higher educational institution, the Code of Academic Integrity, and the Rules for organizing the educational process using credit technology.

For the participants of the meeting, he made a special emphasis on the peculiarities of the organization of the educational process at EAGI, where all conditions have been created so that students can receive a high-quality education, which in the future will help them to be competitive specialists in their field.

First-year students were greeted by Vice-Rector for Academic and Scientific Work, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor K.A. Akhmetov. He spoke about the main provisions of educational and scientific work at EAGI, paying special attention to distance learning technologies.

Ospanova; Director of the Department for Academic Affairs and Accreditation, Candidate of Philological Sciences., Professor S. B. Zagatova; Dean of the Institute, Candidate of Pedagogical Sciences, Associate Professor T.N. Kemaikina; Head of the Registration Department KT Bayzhumanova; A.S. Temirgalieva, Head of the DOT Center; Head of the Psychological and Pedagogical Service for Supporting Inclusive Education of EAGI, Master A.T. Ayazbaeva; library director S.B. Khamzina; Head of the press center, Master of Legal Sciences, G.A. Kanafina; Chairperson of the KDM, A.Sh. Shakenova; leaders of student government.

Coordinator for Academic Mobility and International Relations, Master A.T. Sandybayeva presented training programs at universities of

the republic, near and far abroad. During the meeting, students asked questions and exchanged views.

Employees of the registration department and advisers took part in the preparation and conduct of the acquaintance days for freshmen, who introduced them to the peculiarities of the automated information system “Platonus”, the procedure for enrolling in disciplines, and filling out individual curricula. The library staff spoke about the services of the Institute library. During this period, curatorial hours were held.
