Exchange of distance training experience of the Department of Foreign Languages

On 30-th April 2020 there was held an on-inseminator the theme:” Teaching of the disciplines on the educational programs: “Foreign Language: two foreign languages” and “Translation Studies” remotely (platforms OES, Zoom)” organized by the Department of Foreign languages of EAGI. At the beginning of the webinar the First Vice –Rector A.D. Issmayilov and the Vice-Rector on educational and scientific work K.A. Akhmetov pointed out a number of urgent tasks facing the teaching staff of the Institute including checking of plagiarism of the diploma works and the forthcoming defense of the diploma projects of the graduate students, the midterm progress and the examination session. The on-line seminar was continued by the moderator, Director of the Department on academic issues and accreditation S.B. Zagatova who marked that under the conditions of the distance education the teachers manage and use various forms of working on the base of accessible informational-communicativetechnologies quite successfully.

The teacher sof the Departmentof Foreign Languages: Master of Pedagogical Science, Docent Ilyassova A.U. and Master of Pedagogical Science, the senior teacher Davletova S.Ye. made reports and presentations. Thereporterssharedtheirexperience of using the programs on the platforms of OES and ZOOM. Ontheexampleofthepracticalstudiesonthedisciplines “HistoryofGreatBritain”, “Practice of consecutive interpretation”, “Advanced English on the IELTS program” and other disciplines the reporters showed how they worked with the students and conductedthe lessons in the remote form. The participants of the webinar also paid attention to the exams which had been taken remotely for the students of the 4-th courses of the day time form of education of the specialties “Foreign language: two foreign languages” and “Translation Studies”.

There were marked the problems of the distance form of education and the way soft heir solution.
