From 8 to 13 April, the students of EAGI take part in the festival “Zhastar zhalyny-2016”

With the arrival of spring, one of the most anticipated events for students, “Zhastar Zhalyny-2016” festival, which brings together the most energetic and creative representatives of the capitals youth for the fourth consecutive year, will start in Astana.

The first large-scale festival of “Zhastar Zhalyny” took place in 2013. Back then, hundreds of talented students from all the educational institutions of Astana met on a big art arena for the first time. Since then, the spring and friendship holiday holding has become a tradition.

Today, atmosphere of creativity is prevailing in the higher educational institutions and colleges of the city: creative ideas are born, performances and sketches are produced, characters and costumes are thought out. The official opening of “Zhastar Zhalyny” will take place on April 8. This year’s art festival will be held within a special solemn format and will be dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Competition days of the grandiose “Zhastar Zhalyny-2016” youth festival will be held from April 8 to April 12 at various venues of the city.

The winners in 10 categories will be announced at the gala concert, which will take place on April 13 at 18 o’clock on the stage of the Congress Hall.
