On October 13, 2022, the administration, teachers and leaders of student government took part in planting a tree in memory of the founder of the institute, academician Kussainov Amangeldy Kussainovich. Colleagues and students present shared warm memories of the joint years of work and study under the guidance of Amangeldy Kussainovich, noting his contribution as a scientist and leader, mentor and friend. Senior students gratefully appreciated their years of study at EAGI, which began in the first year with the parting words of Amangeldy Kussainovich on September 1. After planting a tree symbolizing human values, a commemorative plaque was installed.
