International Day of Translators in EAGI

The Department of foreign languages organized the annual holiday “International Day of Translators” on 28 September 2017.The students of the specialties “Translation Major”, and “Foreign language: two foreign languages” took an active part in the concert. The students of the groups: ИЯ-17-02, ИЯК-17-01, ПД -2 , ИЯК-15-02, ПДК-17-01, ИЯК-16-02, ПД-17-01, ИЯ-17-01, ИЯК-17-02, ПД-16-01, ИЯК-16-01 prepared creative musical numbers, edited informative and colourful wall-newspapers in which they reflected the theme of modernization of the public consciousness, love for Motherland and patriotism.

The pupils of school № 72 also took an active part in this event. They represented the Department branch.

The words of gratitude for the conducted event were said by the Prorector on the educational work Ya.N. Ospanova, Docent, the Head of the Department of foreign languages L. V. Volkova, the volunteer and supervisor of the English-speaking Club  Morgan Graves, A.Yu. Yastrebov, the graduate of the Department of foreign languages of the specialty: “Translation Major” and the employer. The official awarding of the students with Diplomas as prize winners and  for their active participation was the logical completion of the concert.
