«Let’s Do It Qazaq Eli!»

On 26th February on the initiative of the Department of Law Disciplines and the volunteer group of the students-lawyers the meeting with the vice-president of the volunteer establishment «Let’s Do It Qazaq Eli!» Shasalim Shagalimov took place at the Eurasian Humanities Institute. All the students of the Institute were invited to this meeting. The aim of the event was discussing the issues of preserving bio-diversity not only in the city but also outside the city. The invited speaker told the audience how to struggle against the reasons of polluting the environment.

Sh. Shagalimov demonstrated the students a new mobile application «Zhasyl Qalqan». This application shows how much the city air is polluted. Through this application you can shoot the violation in the street (litter on the road or spontaneous dump) and send the video to the city akimat for improving the situation. One can order planting a tree and communicate with other participants and create other actions.

At the end of the meeting the guest was asked a lot of questions.
