New impulse in language education

On 28 September 2018 at the Nazarbayev University there was held a conference with the participation of the representatives of the institutes, ministries, state agencies and NGO. The aim of the conference was to broaden the knowledge about international texts, to get acquainted with successful global thematic researches and possibilities of partnership. Within the framework of the event the participants had an opportunity to exchange the experience and ideas connected with the language teaching and realization of international testing.

At the opening ceremony the participants of the conference were greeted by the vice-president on the students’ affairs and international cooperation of the Nazarbayev University Dayirova K.N. and the senior regional manager Anna Gutkowska-Zajac.

On the thematic reports about the possibilities of mastering the English language and certification in Kazakhstan, systems of assessment, models and advantages of collaboration with ETS Global there spoke: the senior expert of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan Ibrayeva S.A., the regional manager Anna Gutkowska-Zajac, the senior expert on products and pedagogy Daniela Muresan and others.

At this conference there took part the teachers of the Department of foreign languages of the Eurasian Humanities Institute who were very interested in the discussed issues and marked that such disputes were necessary for further productive work and give a new impulse to the development of the language education in the country.
