The teachers of the department of foreign languages took part at the Republican scientific-practical seminar
On 4 October 2016 at the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University there was conducted the scientific-methodical seminar: «Brain Research and Learning. How ‘educational neuroscience’ can affect learning and teaching», devoted to the problems of neuroscience and its influence on contemporary education and teaching.
The event was organized on the base of the Department of Foreign Philology under the leadership of the foreign expert, Doctor Michael Nader.
The Head of the Department, DPh.Sc., Professor Bizhkenova A.Ye. took the floor with the greeting words.
The teachers of the higher educational establishments of Astana –city including EAGI took part at this seminar.
In the course of the seminar there were considered the following issues:
- “Investing Facts about Learning and Teaching”
- “Practical Application of Brain-based Strategies to Enhance Education”
- “How to organize a lecture and be communicative?”
- “How to organize cooperative learning ”.
On the completion of the seminar the participants were awarded certificates.
