The Day of National Currency

The 15th of November is the birthday of the Kazakhstani currency that personifies the past, the present and the future of our country. This year the Republic celebrates the 25th anniversary of the national currency. In the whole, for the past period in the financial sphere there were a lot of reforms, the money-credit policy and the activity of the National Bank on regulating the control over the financial institutions were being improved.

The Department of economical and mathematical disciplines marked this important event with the students – the future employees of the financial structures. The members of the scientific student club “Karzhygher” organized an intellectual game with the participation of the students of ENU and Kaz. UEFMD. The participants of the game demonstrated the knowledge of the evolution of the national currency, creativity and intelligence. All the teams showed interesting presentations on the theme:” Future Minister of Finance” and also took part in the competition of the team captains, they were tested and solved the economical tasks. The students actively supported the game participants and gave quick answers to the questionnaire.

On the completion of the game all the teams were given prizes. Diploma of the 1st degree was awarded the student team from Kaz. UEFMD who showed the best results.
