The International Conference in EAGI

On 9 December 2016 the International scientific-practical conference: “Contemporary Issues of Humanities and Social Sciences” took place at the Eurasian Humanities Institute. The main goal of the conference was generalization of the experience and discussion of the contemporary state and urgent issues of scientific researches in the fields of pedagogy, psychology, the Kazakh and foreign philology, history, philosophy, sociology, economy and law. This year the forum has been devoted to the 25-th anniversary of Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On opening the conference, Prorector on educational and scientific work, Doctor of Historical Science Professor K.A. Akhmetov had a greeting word on behalf of the academician A.K. Kussayinov, Rector of EAGI. Addressing the participants of the conference K.A. Akhmetov marked that the Eurasian Humanities Institute had good traditions aimed at being united for a general cause forming the space for exchanging opinions, knowledge and mutual cooperation. Scientific schools are being formed that is very important in modern conditions of the development of science. The scientists of Astana city and the whole Kazakhstan and also the colleagues from Russia, Turkey, Uzbekistan, Ukraine supported the conference.

At the plenary meeting the following scientists made reports: Doctor of Historical Science, Professor, Prorector of the Eurasian Humanities Institute K.A. Akhmetov (Kazakhstan);Doctor of Philological Science, Professor, Deputy Director of the Educational centre “Humanities Pedagogy” N.Zh. Shaimeredenova (Kazakhstan); Candidate of Philological Science, Assistant Professor of Nazarbayev University Zh. A. Agabekova (Kazakhstan); Candidate of Economic Science, Professor of the Eurasian Humanities Institute M.I. Zhukibay (Kaakhstan); Doctor of Pedagogical Science, Professor, the Head of the Department of Pedagogy of the Eurasian Humanities Institute B.S. Sarssekeyev (Kazakhstan).

The plenary video report was made by the Doctor of Pedagogical Science, Professor of the Orenburg State Pedagogical University V.G. Ryndak (Russia). Valentina Grigoryevna thanked the organizers of the conference for being invited to take part at the work of the conference and expressed hope for a long scientific cooperation between two higher educational institutions.

At the work of the conference there were represented the reports of the scientists and teachers from Bulgaria, Russia, Turkey, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Estonia and Kazakhstan. All these scientists are representatives of the authorizes bodies in the field of education, science, policy and different organizations of education, realizing the programmes of general secondary and secondary vocational, higher, additional professional education (the cities of Astana, Almaty, Karabyuk, Kiev, Nizhny Novgorod, Omsk, Orenburg, Ryazan, St. Petersburg, Simferopol, Sofia,

Stavropol,, Tashkent, Herson, Yaroslavl and others). The scientific problems were distributed among four sections: “Pedagogy and Psychology”, ”Social-Humanities sciences: history, sociology, philosophy, social work, ecology, valeology”, “The Kazakh, foreign and Russian Philology”, “Law, Economy and Finance”.

On the results of the conference there were listened to the reports of the leaders of the sections. The recommendations were worked out. All the participants were given certificates.
