The meeting of the English speaking club

On November 18, 2022, under the guidance of the senior teacher of the Department of Foreign Languages Sarsenova A.M., the meeting of the English speaking club was held. The meeting was held in the format of a videoconference, which was attended by students of the educational program “Foreign language: two foreign languages” (academic groups SHT-22-01, SHT-19-0, IYA-19-01), as well as Mrs. Claire McCarthy, English teacher from Surrey (UK). Mrs. McCarthy told the audience about the history of Great Britain. It was an inspiring learning environment for students who were given the opportunity to not only listen to Claire, but also to express their opinions on the issues discussed.
