The Message of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan N.A. Nazarbayev was discussed in EAGI

Peace, stability and public consent remain the main value of the Kazakhstani people and the factors of social-economic success of the country. This was marked in the Message by the Head of the state. Within the framework of the Single thematic day on the discussion and explanation of the Message of the President “New possibilities of the development in the conditions of the fourth industrial revolution” the extended meeting of the Academic council was held in the Eurasian Humanities Institute.

Rector A.K. Kussayinov called the assignment about the transition of higher educational establishments to the innovated activity quite timely and marked that in his Message the President pointed the further vector of the development of the state. The Rector also underlined that during the epoch, when the global technologies unite the world, our country must move in step with the times.

Prorector on the educational work Ya. N. Ospanova also marked that the Message quite exactly signifies the contours of the system of education which embraces the citizens of all ages – from the kindergarten to the doctorate.

According to the opinion of the Director of the Department on academic issues and accreditation C.Ph.Sc.. Professor S.B. Zagatova, the Head of the state justly emphasizes that we stand on the threshold of sharp changes and if we don’t react to the world tendencies now and don’t begin the transfer of technologies we may seriously fall behind the progress. The Head of the Department of Pedagogy, D.P.Sc., Professor B.S. Sarsekeyev paid a special attention to the seventh point of the Message in which the leading priority is a new quality of education. The Head of the Department of foreign languages C.P. Sc., Docent L.V. Volkova marked the key priority – development of the ability to constant acquisition of the new knowledge. The Head of the Department of economic and mathematical disciplines C.Tech.Sc., G.D. Tazhbenova marked that using the innovative sources of energy will allow to increase the competitiveness of the country and added that in the Message the key direction is financing the small business and youth start-ups. Director of the college of the Eurasian Humanities Institute A.D. Ashirbekova marked the concrete goals of the seventh task saying that the vocational education is being updated by the classification of specialties in Kazakhstan and also within the framework of the Message the College of EAGI successfully work on the task of retraining and provides the transfer to the credit-module program of teaching. The Chairperson of the CYA N.T. Tyrnahan in her speech marked that in the Message a great attention is paid to the youth, the questions on the implementation of concrete projects, provision of housing, jobs are set. For the future generation the introduction of modern methods and technologies, extending the accessibility of education, improvement of the quality of education are the guarantee of the development of Kazakhstan in future.

In the discussion of the key issues of the Message there took part the student representatives of EAGI (the students: Gulnara Zhuregumbekova and Aidana

Beisembenova), who marked that the future of the Kazakhstani people is based on mastering the Kazakh, Russian and English languages.

Rector A.K. Kussayinov summarized the discussion and underlined that the realization of the Message of the President will be implemented in the educational process of the Institute and the teaching staff of EAGI will do their utmost to put it into practice.
