Webinar on the topic: “Usus and norm of the language within the framework of the Optimal Translation Solution”

On January 26, 2023, the webinar on the topic: “Usus and the norm of the language within the framework of the Optimal Translation Solution” was organized for students of the PD-21-01 group (2nd year, educational program “Translation major”), as part of the training practice. The lecturer was the employer, Director of Lexicon-NS Yastrebov A. Yu. Students listened to the information, shared their opinion on the translation of poems, tried their hand at paraphrasing sentences in English. At the end of the webinar, the participants of the webinar took part in a discussion about the problems of simultaneous translation and the difficulties faced by simultaneous interpreters.
