On April 19, 2026, first-year students from the EAGI visited the National Museum of the Republic of Kazakhstan as part of their educational and developmental activities.
The excursion was organized by S. M. Molgazhdarova, senior lecturer at the Department of Kazakh Language and Literature. Students from groups BO-25-01, T-25-02, SHTT-25-01, AI-25-04, and YUTQ-25-01 participated in the event.
Visiting one of the country’s largest museums was a significant step in shaping the students’ cultural and historical worldview. The museum’s exhibits allowed them to gain a deeper understanding of Kazakhstan’s rich heritage, trace the connection between the past and the present, and strengthen their sense of national identity.
The excursion takes on special significance in the context of Abay Kunanbayev’s “Tolyq Adam” concept. According to this idea, the harmonious development of the individual is impossible without the unity of knowledge, moral values, and spiritual culture.
Exposure to historical artifacts, cultural symbols, and the spiritual heritage of the people contributes to the formation of precisely such a well-rounded individual—one who is thoughtful, self-aware, and responsible for the future of their country.
Such excursions not only broaden horizons but also foster respect for history, culture, and traditions, serving as an important part of the institute’s educational environment.
