On September 30, 2026, the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies held a festive event dedicated to International Translation Day.
The programme included exciting team competitions such as “Translate the Scene,” “Spelling Bee,” “Idiom Battle,” and “Jeopardy.” The participants demonstrated their foreign-language proficiency, translation skills, creativity, quick thinking, and ability to work as a team.
A special highlight of the event was the performance “The Tower of Babel,” presented by the students of group IYa-26-03. The festive programme was also enriched by creative performances from the students of groups AI-26-01 and AI-26-02.
The event was held in a warm and friendly atmosphere, bringing students together through their shared interest in foreign languages and translation. It gave everyone an excellent opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge, talents, and creativity.
At the end of the event, the most active participants were awarded diplomas and memorable gifts.
