EAGI to Coordinate the New Erasmus+ CBHE Project INSPIRE 21

A.K. Kussayinov Eurasian Humanities Institute is proud to announce that, for the first time in its history, it will serve as the grant holder and coordinator of an Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education project.

The new international project, INSPIRE 21 — “Empowering International Cooperation and Skills for Sustainable Growth in the 21st Century,” is co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) programme.

This important achievement marks a new stage in EAGI’s international development. The project will strengthen the Institute’s global partnerships and contribute to the modernization of higher education through digital innovation, cross-cultural cooperation, and the development of essential 21st-century skills.

EAGI will coordinate a consortium of nine higher education institutions from six countries: Kazakhstan, Ireland, Bulgaria, Poland, Indonesia, and Uzbekistan. The 36-month project will officially begin on 1 November 2026.

The INSPIRE 21 consortium brings together universities with expertise in education, pedagogical innovation, research, digital learning, artificial intelligence, international project management, and cross-cultural communication to exchange experience, develop new educational approaches, and create practical tools to support international cooperation.

The project will support students, academic staff, administrative personnel, and international relations offices, helping them participate more confidently and effectively in international education and collaborative initiatives.

Each partner will contribute its experience to curriculum development, capacity building, professional training, quality assurance, and the dissemination of project results. Project activities and educational modules will also be adapted to the national and institutional contexts of the participating universities.

This international cooperation will help partner universities introduce modern educational practices, improve the quality of their international services, strengthen institutional capacity, and create new learning and professional development opportunities for students and staff.
