On October 23, 2026, a ceremonial event dedicated to the Republic of Kazakhstan’s Republic Day was held at the A. K. Kussayinov Eurasian Humanities Institute. The event was organized by the Department of Legal Disciplines.

As part of the ceremony, faculty members who had contributed to the development of the Institute were awarded medals and letters of appreciation.
Askar Sovetkanovich Makipov, Candidate of Historical Sciences and Associate Professor, delivered a presentation entitled “Republic Day: From the Declaration of Sovereignty to the New Constitution.” His presentation highlighted the historical significance of state sovereignty and the continuity of Kazakhstan’s constitutional development.
The festive program was prepared by students of the Law educational program. The audience was presented with a theatrical performance entitled “Oyan, Kazakh!”, patriotic poems, vocal performances, and dance numbers. Through their creative performances, the participants expressed their respect for the country’s historical and cultural heritage, their love for their homeland, and their responsibility for its future. The event concluded with a collective performance of the song “Atameken.”
Such events contribute to strengthening the patriotic spirit of student youth, fostering civic responsibility, and promoting respect for national values. For future lawyers, it is particularly important to understand their role in strengthening the rule of law, protecting citizens’ rights, and serving society.
