On 23–24 October 2026, the International Educational Forum of Central Asian Countries was held in Tashkent, bringing together representatives of higher education institutions, the academic community and expert organisations from across the region.
The forum addressed current issues concerning the development of higher education and science, the implementation of innovative technologies, the commercialisation of research outcomes, the digitalisation of the educational process, and the expansion of international academic and scientific cooperation. Particular attention was given to strengthening collaboration among Central Asian universities and implementing joint initiatives aimed at improving the quality of scientific research and training competitive professionals.
One of the significant outcomes of the visit was the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the A.K. Kussayinov Eurasian Humanities Institute and the Tashkent Institute of Management and Economics. The agreement provides for the implementation of joint educational, scientific, technical and innovative projects; the development of academic mobility for students and academic staff; the scientific review of projects; and the exchange of scientific, educational and methodological information.
