Educational Event “Shokan’s Legacy – A Heritage for Future Generations” Dedicated to the 190th Anniversary of Shokan Ualikhanov

On April 17, 2026, the “Turan” historical club organized an educational event dedicated to the 190th anniversary of the outstanding scholar, educator, and researcher Shokan Ualikhanov.
During the event, students presented translations of excerpts from his scientific works and discussed their historical and academic significance. Students of group T-23-01, Sundetbay Laila and Sandybekov Yerbolat, delivered presentations on Ualikhanov’s legacy and biography, highlighting his contribution to history, ethnography, and Oriental studies.
The event contributed to expanding students’ historical awareness, promoting the scholar’s scientific heritage, and increasing young people’s interest in national history and science.
