From May 13 to 14, 2026, the international educational exhibition of Kazakhstani universities, “Study in Kazakhstan,” took place in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. The event was organized at the initiative of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the National Center for International Cooperation in Education (NCIE).
EAGI was represented at the exhibition by Saltanat Akimovna Meyramova, Director of the Department of International Cooperation and Internationalization.
The opening ceremony was attended by representatives of the ministries of education of both countries, the Embassy of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Mongolia, and educational organizations. Among the Kazakhstani representatives were Gulzhan Sagidullaevna Jarasova, Chair of the Committee on Higher and Postgraduate Education of the Ministry of National Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as Almas Seitaqynuly, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Mongolia.
The exhibition showcased EAGI’s educational programs, the institute’s international activities, and opportunities for academic cooperation. The event also served as a platform for discussing prospects for collaboration with Mongolian universities, including the Mongolian University of Science and Technology, the Mongolian National University of Education, and Orkhon University.
EAGI’s participation in the “Study in Kazakhstan” exhibition contributed to the promotion of Kazakhstani higher education and the expansion of the institute’s international cooperation.
