The Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan (hereinafter referred to as the Science Committee) announces the call for proposals for grant funding of research projects by young scientists under the “Zhas Galym” project for 2027 (implementation period: 36 months) in the following priority areas of scientific development, in accordance with the Call Documentation:
Climate Resilience, Water Security, Natural Resources, and Sustainable Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex;
Technological Sovereignty and Industrial Competitiveness;
Health, Human Development, and Quality of Life;
National Security, Defense, and the Resilience of Territories and Critical Infrastructure;
Fundamental Research, Scientific Foundations, and Research Capacity.
Grant applications must be submitted electronically to the Science Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and certified with the electronic digital signatures of both the research supervisor and the applicant via the information system of JSC “National Center for State Scientific and Technical Expertise” at: https://is.ncste.kz.
Application submission opens: October 12, 2026.
Application deadline: November 10, 2026 (inclusive).
