The EAGI has summarized the results of the events held in celebration of National Book Day

EAGI held a wrap-up event for a series of activities organized as part of the National Book Day celebrations. The initiatives “Donate a Book to the Library” and “One Institute—One Book” brought together students, faculty, and staff, demonstrating a high level of engagement and interest in reading.

As part of the “One Institute—One Book” project, a quiz was held on the novel “Tagdyr” by Kabdesh Zhumadilov. According to the results, 79 participants read the entire work and successfully completed the tasks. The following students achieved the maximum score (100%):

Mamybek Maria (group KT 24-01);
Nurseitova Zhibek Kairatkyzy (group KT-24-01).

As part of the “Donate a Book to the Library” (bookcrossing) campaign, the institute’s library collection was expanded by 64 books.

Following the conclusion of the campaign, the winners in the following categories have been announced:

“Library Patron” — Kadyr Abilzhanuly Akhmetov, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor;
“Reader of the Year” — Marzhanay Makhmetovna Zhanpeisova, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Professor;
“Kitap Kumar — Book Lover 2026” — Candidate of Historical Sciences, Professor Askar Sovetkhanuly Makipov;
“Best User of Library Electronic Resources” — Student Zamanbek Berdaulet (Group SHT-25-01);
“Talented Reader” — student Amantai Dinmuhamed Serikuly (group KT 24-01).

The “Best Group” award went to group QT 24-01 (class representative—Asem Tleutaeva; advisor—Candidate of Philological Sciences, Professor Laura Nogaybekovna Daurenbekova), whose members donated 12 books to the library’s collection.

The title of “Best Student Reader” was awarded to Veronika Aleksandrovna Teterkina (group IYAT-20-01).

The events held contributed to the promotion of reading, the strengthening of reading culture, and the formation of an intellectual environment at the institute.

The institute’s administration expresses its gratitude to all participants for their active involvement and contribution to the development of educational and cultural initiatives.
