The EAGI library hosted a book exhibition dedicated to promoting the heroism, courage, fortitude, and patriotism of the people who paved the way to Victory during the World War II. Readers viewed the exhibition with great interest. It featured valuable works that reveal the historical truth of the war years through documentary chronicles, scholarly materials, fiction, and poetry.
In particular, the following were presented to readers: the collection «Екінші дүниежүзілік соғыс жылдарындағы қазақстандықтардың ерлігі – архив құжаттарында», and T. Balakaev’s work «Қазақстан еңбекшілері майдан қызметінде (1941–1945 жж.)», T. Kyshkanbay’s book «Тағдыры тарихқа айналған», A. Martirosyan’s monograph «Накануне 23 августа 1939 года», A. Nurshaikhov «Боздақтар» the three-volume work by Winston Churchill “The Second World War,” the book by S. Seytov «Майдангер көзімен» as well as works by Bauyrzhan Momyshuly and Alexander Bek.
During the exhibition, participants familiarized themselves with historical works, paying particular attention to research studies, important facts, and valuable information.
The courage and heroism of the people will forever remain in the nation’s memory. The names of the soldiers are immortal glory. No one and nothing will be forgotten, for their feat is forever inscribed in the pages of history.
