On September 1, 2026, the curators for the first-year classes of the 6B04209 “Jurisprudence” program held their first curatorial hour.
Zh. N. Almukhambetov, Docent, led the curatorial hour for groups YuQ-26-01 and YuTQ-26-01, while E. V. Krushinskaya, Docent, led the curatorial hour for groups YuR-26-01 and YuRT-26-01.
During the curatorial hour, first-year students were introduced to the specifics of the educational process at the institute, the rules of internal order, the basic requirements for students, the procedures for ongoing and midterm assessments, as well as the specifics of organizing independent study.
Particular attention was paid to helping first-year students adapt to the conditions of study at a higher education institution, as well as to upholding academic integrity, internal regulations, and standards of conduct. The advisors also explained students’ rights and responsibilities, the procedures for interacting with faculty and the institute’s administration, as well as the main areas of extracurricular and community activities.
At the conclusion of the curatorial hour, students were given the opportunity to ask questions and receive necessary clarifications regarding the organization of the academic process and student life.
