On September 19, 2026, representatives of the Committee for Youth Affairs of A.K. Kussayinov Eurasian Humanities Institute took part in a nationwide clean-up event held as part of the Taza Qazaqstan environmental campaign.
On the same day, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev joined young people and environmental activists in supporting this large-scale environmental initiative. The Head of State participated in tree planting in the Presidential Park and addressed the young participants, emphasizing the important role of the younger generation in fostering a culture of care and responsibility towards nature, their hometowns, and the country.
Today, Taza Qazaqstan goes far beyond the scope of an environmental campaign. It has become an important public initiative that fosters responsibility and civic culture among young people and promotes an understanding that meaningful change begins with the actions of each individual.
For EAGI students, participation in such activities is not only a contribution to maintaining cleanliness and order in the city. The concept of “tazalyq” (cleanliness and purity) carries a much deeper meaning: a clean environment begins with an individual’s inner culture – clarity of thought and purpose, order in one’s plans, respect for others, and a conscious approach to one’s own future and the development of the country.
Initiatives like this help shape a responsible generation that does not remain a passive observer but actively participates in society, cares for the city and the environment, and understands its personal responsibility for the future of Kazakhstan.
The participation of EAGI youth in the Taza Qazaqstan campaign continues the Institute’s systematic efforts to foster environmental awareness, social responsibility, and active citizenship among its students.
