E. D. Bekbulatova and Zh. K. Usenova, staff members of the Scientific Library of the Eurasian Humanities Institute named after A. K. Kussayinov, took part in a literary meeting with Yessei Zhenisuly, a renowned journalist, poet, and writer, and recipient of the Seidakhmet Berdikulov Award. The event was held at the Central Children’s and Youth Library of the Astana City Akimat’s Municipal State Institution “Centralized Library System” and was dedicated to Republic Day.
The meeting aimed to promote the poet’s literary works, encourage dialogue with readers, and foster the development of an intellectually engaged younger generation.
G. Madibayeva, Head of the Library, addressed the audience and shared her views on the importance of fostering an interest in knowledge and reading. She expressed confidence in the nation’s future and emphasized the need to promote a strong reading culture among young people and broaden their horizons.
The meeting concluded with a question-and-answer session, recognition of active readers, and a commemorative photo with the author. The event left participants with warm memories and reinforced the hope that the love of books cultivated in the hearts of readers and listeners will become a source of spiritual enrichment and inspiration.
