On 2 November 2026, the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies at EAGI named after A.K. Kussayinov held another meeting of the English Speaking Club.
The meeting focused on the topic “British Culture: Customs and Traditions.” Participants discussed distinctive features of British culture, national customs and traditions, while also developing their English speaking skills.
Fourth-year students enrolled in the “Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages” educational programme, representing academic groups IYa-23-01 and ShT-23-03, actively participated in the meeting.
The event was attended by Baiturina U.K., PhD, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Foreign Languages and Translation Studies, as well as Sarsenova A.M., Master of Pedagogical Sciences and Associate Professor.
The meeting was held in an informative and friendly atmosphere, giving students an opportunity to broaden their knowledge of British culture and practise English through live communication.
