The honorary guest of the event was Professor, Doctor of Historical Sciences Zharas Akyshuly Yermekbayev. The scholar shared the results of his research, presenting his work “The Fate and Legacy of Shokan Ualikhanov,” and elaborated on its depth of content and scientific significance. The work attracted considerable interest among participants as a valuable study distinguished by its high academic level and educational importance.
During the meeting, students asked insightful questions, and an open discussion was organized. This contributed to increasing students’ interest in historical figures and to the development of their scientific thinking.
As part of the event, students presented a video and a presentation dedicated to the life and scholarly activity of Shokan Ualikhanov. The program was enriched by the performance of a traditional kui, which added a special spiritual atmosphere to the event.
In addition, faculty members and students engaged in creative activities recited poems dedicated to the great scholar, presenting their original works. Active participation in this part was shown by S.A. Eskaliyev, A.S. Makipov, A.Zh. Amanbayev, M.M. Dzhanpeisova, K.Sh. Aubakirova, A.Z. Yeslyamova, A.S. Mulikova, and A. Zhanturina.
