Training on “Prevention of Violence and Harassment: Teacher’s Action Algorithm and Legal Protection Mechanisms”

On April 15, 2026, a training session titled “Prevention of Violence and Harassment: Teacher’s Action Algorithm and Legal Protection Mechanisms” was held at the Department of Pedagogy and History, organized by the students of group MD-25-01.
The purpose of the event was to enhance students’ legal awareness regarding the prevention of violence and harassment in the educational environment, to explain the legal foundations of a teacher’s professional activity, and to develop practical skills in applying an appropriate action algorithm in such situations.
During the training, participants were introduced to the identification of violence and harassment cases, methods of their prevention, and the stages of a teacher’s response. In particular, attention was paid to timely detection of violations, evidence collection, обращения to relevant authorities, and mechanisms for protecting students’ rights.
The event was conducted in an interactive format. Through practical tasks such as “Finding a Way Out of a Difficult Situation” and “Legal Consultant,” students analyzed real pedagogical scenarios and developed decision-making skills.
During the discussion and reflection stage, each group presented its solutions, emphasizing the importance of ensuring safety and fostering a legal culture within the educational environment. Participants also shared their views on the topic: “How will I act as a teacher in a situation involving violence?”

As a result of the training, the importance of future teachers’ professional responsibility was highlighted, and the principle “A teacher’s professional activity is protected by law” was reinforced.
