On October 7, 2026, the Eurasian Humanitarian Institute named after A.K. Kussayinov hosted a mini-football tournament organized jointly with the Department for Combating Drug-Related Crime of the Police Department of Astana, Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Approximately 60 EAGI students took part in the sporting event, forming nine teams. The tournament provided an opportunity for students to demonstrate their sporting skills, teamwork, and determination to win.
The results of the competition were as follows:
1st place — FC Kairat;
2nd place — Pervashtar;
3rd place — FC DOSTEAM.
Tournament’s Best Players
Based on the results of the competition, the winners in the individual categories were determined:
Best Defender — Arsen Kalmyuratov (YURT-25-01);
Best Goalkeeper — Sanzhar Asylbekov (K-25-01);
Best Forward — Abai Aңsagанұлы Tumenbayev (AI-26-01).
The tournament was held as part of promoting the “Law and Order” ideologeme and was aimed at promoting a healthy lifestyle, preventing drug use among young people, and fostering a responsible attitude among students towards their health and future.
Such sporting events contribute to the development of discipline, team spirit, and respect for rules and opponents, while also providing students with meaningful and beneficial leisure activities.
